SKS or SVT 40?

I say grab what you can afford or whichever tickles your fancy the most, and plan to own all 3 eventually. Mosin prices are very very low right now and SKS's arent doing too bad either. It wont always be that way and you'll be glad you grabbed them when they were cheap. They are all seriously fun and cold dead reliable. Theres two more we should all own, but some hussy do-gooders peed in that bucket of fun... :(
 
If I had to get one it would be SK ammo is cheaper plus my svt40 isn't any good past 350 my Sks is just as good without a bunch of wasted bang just my opinion

I would buy the sks first because your buddies have them and then branch out to they svt-40.

I have the sks but would some day like the complete collection of Russian rifles as well as a TT-33 hand gun.
