Am I reading the posts correctly in the EE forum? Norinco SKS'S selling for around $400 Is this right?

Dave.

Unbelievable......These things are worth $150...but there are a pile of saps out there spending the milk money and meeting these inflated asking prices....

Bunch of uneducated knobs.

DAVE!

I just saw that earlier on the EE forum (I believe the price was $450) for a totally stock SKS.

I was gonna come on here and complain but you beat me to it. There should be a sticky up in the EE about fair pricing. People can ask whatever they want, but the new people to the forums should know that people don't always ask a fair price

yea its BS lever is gonna have some in at the end of the summer and i think SIR still has some westicle is just playin

why do I set myself up... I don't have to explain nothing.... it is against cgn rules to complain about an item for sale, if you do not like the price then do not buy it. end of story.

so for all you naysayers, go #### yourself.

You can get them here in Victoria (which MUST be the must be the most expensive place to purchase firearms in Canada) for $180, so if someone can get $450, the all the power to him!

As always.. it is up the buyer to make sure they are getting a good deal... it's buyer beware.

The $450 sale is bogus. Childish attention grabbing ruse.

kind of like $3500 for a 375 ruger.......

but, if someone paid $450 for a chinese sks, i would like to contact them to see if they would like to buy another.

I could not be talked into selling my Chinese SKS for less than $ 400.
FIRM!!!!

However,
My SKS is a D model.

Once I sell you the rifle for only $ 400, I've got you hooked ...
if you want the three 5/30 AK 47 mags, the chest carry mag pouch, and the 600 rds of 7.62X39 ammo that goes with it,
it's gonna cost you, sucka!!!
[;{)

As for pricing on SKS things, I still regret selling my near mint Russian SKS last year for only $ 300 [ and it was snapped up pretty quick too ]. If someone has a clean Russian or a Yugo for sale or trade at around $ 300, I'd be interested.

Like Clang says in another post on the AR15 and M14 prices, sooner or later these giveaway prices on Chinese/Norc firearms will come to an end.

And when that happens, prices will skyrocket, and all you suckas who sold your Chinese stuff off too cheaply will have nothing but a few extra $ 100 bills in your wallet ...
which just ain't going to be as much fun to take to the range, now are they?

An item is worth whatever someone will pay for it. When I bought SKS rifles they were $75...Now it seems that peopel will gladly pay $180, but think $400 is too much....Maybe the seller just recieved a reasonable offer..Nobody knows but the seller and the buyer.

just laughed when I read that thread.

I baught my 70's vintage SKS for $200 last year and I thought i was paying too much. I seriously hope there was more too it then just your average Norinco SkS.

it's called good marketing You can't find the rifles or you can't find the ammo. So ,who is the dumby . I remember buying a sks in the early 90's with all the bellls and whistles. for a song and a dance . So who's the dumb arse. thats good business ,for the people who have the time to sell their sks and not shoot it. So ,they make money and not have fun. my ammo supply is blow ammo until the barrel melts.
