Tighter tolerances? Are you speaking from experience and comparing new un-issued Chinese Military carbines with the Russian carbines? Just asking.

Yup, my new unissued Chinese receiver cover is way sloppy compared to the Russian one. Im guessing it would make a difference in accuracy, if wanting to mount a scope on the rear cover.

Im soooo... thinking of going back and buying that Russian laminate for only 10 dollars more than a regular Chinese.?

I bought a nice Russian from Jo Brook Firearm a couple weeks ago. All matching numbers, no refurb marks, polished bayonet, silver bolt, looks unfired. 169.99.
A year ago a bought a painted black bolt, forced matching Russian for 230.00. Go figure.

Look up Weimajack's offerings in the EE; his reputation is excellent, to which many CGNers can attest. While I have not yet personally done business with him, it is hard to overlook the substantial praise for his great value and service.

My Chinese groups a bit better than my Ruskie.

Could be a difference in these two rifles rather than a general difference.
