sks problem

After firing some diffrent ammo the rim tore off and the case stuck in the chamber. I knocked it out with cleaning rod, but it happened again when I fired it. i took it aprt and cleaned it good, bur it still sticks the case in the chamber after firing. The only thing I have not done is pollish the chamber out. I hope that works.

Yes, i tried to see if they were magnetic cases...they are.

What did you clean it with? There may be a lacquer buildup in the chamber. Try some lacquer thinner.

i had that same problem

i uses the cleaning rod and brush that came with my sks, cordless drill and some solvent. i guess i wanst cleaning the chamber good enough, but it works good now

I would use the solvent and a rag, rather than power tools, small-c Conservative that I am.

I tried some paint thinner on a bore brush to clean the chamber, and it seems to have worked just fine. I also cleaned the ammo with a bit of steel wool. I have since tried 23 rounds with no empty brass sticking in the chamber after firing.
