SKS Question

I shoot left and really want a SKS with the Advanced Technology Fixed/Folding stock. Does anyone know if these stocks are OK for lefties or is the thumb cutout piece and finger grooved grip only on the right side?

dont worry...go 5 levels lower than the "main battle rifle" forum and click "milsurp" , "sks" it will be on top.

Go with a T6 stock, I have tried both and now prefer the T6 Stock...BTW I am a lefty too.

+2 on the T6.
As the folding ATI mentioned only has a right handed thumb rest.

If you have a bayonet attached then you will need the stock that has the cut out slot for it.

IMHO, the best stock option for the sks is the one that comes with the rifle. After having an ATI Dragunov, modding said Dragunov, and painting said Dragunov, I put it back in the original wood for a hunt this weekend.

The T6 is nice too. I've seen a few sks at the range, but never one with T6. From what I gather, ppl on the forum like them.

Thinking about going with this one.

I don't mind the stock that comes with the SKS but the after-market ones are so damn cool looking.
