Okay, Ive heard that some of these rifles are legaly registered 20 round semis... Anybody know anything about this??? Even the RCMP had some knowledge of this but gave me very vague answers to my questioning... So whats the deal with that loophole??? Please fill me in as I am extra interested now...

Oka- I know the general 5 round semi auto rule, but read my thread please- The RCMP does have knowledge of these. So my question is= Can any of us own these or just some special prohib class guys???

Anyone who wants to blindly say bullcrap- please move on, anyone with actual knowledge please let me know...For anyone inbetween, I did speak with the RCMP and THEY DO know of them- although will only vaguely answer questions on them...

If you can get any information out of the rcmp on this we'd be most interested, but i'm in with the BS contingent. There where some chinese sks that had a 20 round mag as opposed to the standard 10 rounders, but they are still required to be pinned to 5 rounds.

There is no provision for any 20rd. SKS magazines. There are some magazines which are exempt from the restrictions, but there are no SKS magazines on the list.
There is no provision for "legally registered 20 round semis". There are aftermarket 20rd. SKS magazines, but they must be blocked to 5rds.
The only real exception to the 5rd limit is for institutional firearms - police, security, etc. There MAY be an exception under a business licence for movie purposes.

Which RCMP? Names and positions, please. If it's just regular members, it doesn't count.
