I just joined the SKS club--spent the afternoon cleaning out the cosmoline!! When I put the reciever back in the stock, it seems to rock on the crossbar a fair bit. The whole thing reassembles fine and solid, but at the end I can squeeze and flex the fore part of the stock together with the handguard 1/8 inch or so. Is this normal? Or have I missed something obvious? :confused:

SKS Rifles rock....they are very addictive so i will warn you now you probably won't just settle for just having one...:D
