Hi all,
Is there an easy way to get the rear sight leaf of an SKS?
I went through the articles off of Surplusrifle.com, but their site is down or I just can't access it at this time. None of the links in the basic thread work that link to that site.
I recall it saying using a screwdriver to depress the flat spring with a screwdriver, but when I try it that way. The leaf spring doesn't seem to depress very far. And with the screwdriver inserted in front of the sight, the sight itself is in the way to lower and slide out. I don't want to wreck it trying to pry it out of little slots that it sits in.
Is there a trick to getting it out??
