So, has any one else thought of this???
I have a Tapco intrafuse siminov, with the weaver base on the handguard. Everything I've read is receiver cover mounts suck ( no holding zero) for mounting optics, the handguard again no holding zero and therefore suck. So, while looking down the sight, for fast target acquisition I find having the rail on the handguard mildly distracting.
My thoughts, neatly paint (red per say) around the rear sight slit, and paint the front sight another colour (sa green) so its a little faster to acquire your target...
Am I way out in left field? Has anyone done this? I saw one guy post a pic a while ago with custom F.O rear sight on his SKS, Any pics would help me in making my decision
Thanks!
Evan
