Just purchased a second hand SKS with a very interesting scope mount. Actually marked Norinco, it replaces the entire receiver cover, and has four screws that clamp to the lower part of the receiver. Rock solid. Comes with 1" rings - now Im after recommendations for a decent, but smaller scope that can provide decent functionality BUT without blocking the bolt carrier's stripper clip slot, so I can continue to load from chargers.
I'm definitely not after a scope that costs more than the rifle, but what have others used, or recommend?
