Sks rifles

Might be dumb question....does the "fixed five round magazines (in compliance with Canadian law)" mean it comes with one, detachable, 5 round mag or that the mag is permenantly fixed into the gun and you will only ever be able to load 5 rds? (aka no 30 rd mags-pinned to 5 will fit)? (I've seen AK-47-esk SKS' on here)

LIBETY SON;

You have asked many questions here....
The originak SKS mags are "fixed" youcan replace them with many after market units you will see on the market
You cannot put AK mags in the guns, the model you refer to is the SKS "D" a civilain version

Ok, so they can be removed and replaced with other mags. Perfect. I must secretly come up with the money without the wife knowing. Are these just as good as the Russian ones?

I have several manufacturers' SKS - Russian, Yugo, Chinese. They are all the same apart from cosmetic issues. Similar function and accuracy too.

Depends if you are a collector or a shooter. If you are a shooter, I would opt for one of the chrom lined Russians, preferably a non-refurb in VG+ or better condition or a laminate refurb silver bolt in Excellent condition, again with a chromed bore, or one of these Chinese unissued guns.

IF you go with the chinese guns, we know for certain that the batch John is bringing in has Factory 625 and Factory 306 guns, and maybe other codes. Having looked at many rifles from the same batch when Norht Sylva brought some of these in, I would try to get a factory 306 - the fit and finish was, in EVERY case I saw, better than on the 625 guns for the same price. Don't be too fussed about if the barrel is pinned or threaded - makes no difference. Of all my Chinese guns, a pinned 306 shoots the best ;)

OUTOFTOWNER;
As mentioned many times, we have nor imported the "entire crates" we left the wood crates behind in favour of individual packaging for each rifle as shown in the pictures we posted....

If you are a dealer please provide a copy of your permit....

If not please advise number of units required, we will quote....

GIROUX;

Sks-d

Can you tell me if someday we'll get a bunch of brand new SKS-D?
I bought one 15 years ago and I made an error; I sold it. I never see another since this time.:confused:

From the Marstar Canada Facebook page:

Marstar Canada Chinese military SKS have landed in Canada! Next stop Canada Customs, then shipped to Marstar to be inspected, sorted, registered. Then we start shipping!
