sks rifles

How do you figure that? Marstar is selling corrosive rounds for $285 (plus tax) per case of 1400 rounds. Which is 21.4 cents per round (we won't include shipping here, too controversial) and CanAm is selling non-corrosive for $299 (plus tax) for 1200 rounds. Which is 26.2 cents per round. Trade Ex is selling for 19.7 cents per round. Westrifle is selling corrosive? ammo for 22.5 cents per round
No one is selling corrosive ammo for 13cents per round, ANYWHERE! So how do y ou figure that non-corrosive is DOUBLE??
Perhaps math has changed since I took it in school, but Double means twice as much. Sorry, anyone with stock is not selling it cheap.

Wolverine has corrosive at about 16 cents a round. Only non corrosive I could find tonight is at prairie gun traders @ 36 cents a round.

For me the devil in the detail on the Marstar deal would be the price one has to pay in shipping costs.

Chinese SKS (unless early ones) generally have pinned chromed barrels unlike the Russian threaded non chromed barrels.
Not a big deal unless you are worried about replacing the barrels easily down the road.

Also even if the barrel is chromed the gas tube and other various internal parts that get exposed to the reside are not.

IMHO Unissued, refurbished, black bolt, silver bolt and other such terms are more about marketing then actual quality.

And if course everyone selling is trying to make their rifle sound more unique and valuable then the other millions made.

Every Russian one I have seen was chrome lined.
