SKS Rubber Buttpad

I bought a similar one form Amazon ca a couple of months back, for the same purpose of increasing the LOP.
The 1" helped a lot and fit the stock well. I ordered a couple of other things I needed at the same time and got the free shipping.
Was a good deal overall.
 
Nice to hear guys, thanks. I wasnt sure how good it would be but I feel a lot better now lol. I went with the 2" one. I have pretty long arms and I kept having to readjust after each shot because my thumb kept bumping me in the nose. Hopefully this one isnt too long.

I have these 1" extensions available in the EE for 12 bucks a pop.
 
You shouldn't have to contort to fit your gun..........your gun should fit you the second it's shouldered.I can understand the Asian made SKS being fit to scale but why the same stock for a 6' European.The winter clothes angle is crap as my SKS is still too dam short +40 or -40............Harold
 
before you stick on the rubber buttpad, run a few rings of hockey tape around the butt to thicken it up a bit and the pad wont move as much, if that doesn't work just wash the sand out of your ######s...lol just kidding I had to say it

I was going to buy one but I thought they looked a little rough. Wouldnt mind seeing one cleaned up.
 
I got one just to lengthen the pull. Mine screws over the existing butt pad and keeps the hole exposed. If you stick your finger in it trying to get the tool kit out, your finger gets stuck!! Kind of like GARAND finger but slower. oww LOL
 
Here's a few pics of the butt pad cleaned up. I have to clean the the grooves a little better, but you can see how nice the sides cleaned up. Pics taken with my phone so they're not the best.
