Magazine capacity has been tastefully reduced to five rounds in accordance with Canadian law. No ugly welds, no unattractive added parts in the magazine.

I purchased one from you and it's great! There is one problem though,they're in the same price range as the better made Russian's sks. I own both,I love both but when I buy another It'll be a Russian....that is unless of course the Chinese where to come down $20-$30:p. Hey while I have your attention; Why don't your rifles come with slings? I bought an AK sling from you at the time of purchase which I thought was kinda BS. And then had to search heaven and earth for the proper sling! As you've stated it's a military rifle,what military rifle doesn't come with it's sling? Just to rub salt to the wound, My Russian came with an original sling;)
 
Chinese military SKSs vary in quality, my commercial SKS-D is better finished than the Chinese military SKS I got from Marstar. The '54 Tula I just got from Westrifle has nasty machining on the barrel like the chinese military, but the D has a nice smooth shiny barrel (I'm talking outside of the barrel) The russian stock is slimmer and a little lighter than the chinese military, you can feel the difference in weight balance. That being said, the factory 306 chinese military I had and stupidly sold had nicer machining on the outside of the rifle than my Tula does, bluing was a little better too. The new factory 625 is a much rougher rifle

The Chinese... jammed and misfired constantly. I gave it away for dirt cheap after a month. The spike bayonet is unattractive, the wood was cheaply varnished, and honestly the thing was just way too light, makes it feel fragile.

The Russian is easily the prettiest of the three, but I haven't taken it out to the range as yet so I really can't say much.

Between the Chinese and the Russian, I'd vote go Russian, simply because of the bad experience I had with the Chinese.

Has anyone else had experience with Yugo ones as well as the others? If so, how did they perform in comparison? I am aware that they need to be cleaned more often/better due to lacking a chrome barrel and the rifle grenade part.

In the mind Yugo is 2 best of all SkS ever create. East German is still #1 but non the less still a close 2nd.
 
Russian > Chinese

You can find the odd non-refub ruskie- and that's the best bang for buck IMO.

Regardless of which one you go with you'll be happy I'm sure.
 
I have got 2 SKS's now both from Hical.ca they are both never fired brand new non referbs one will just say stock with its lamite stock and the other has been fitted with a Tapco stock it still need the williams peep site upgade soon.
