SKS sale, take advantage of the savings!

I'm an expat from the States that just got my restricted/non-restricted license so, don't badger me too much if this is not allowed, but if it is, I'm in Vancouver, BC and would do a group buy with others if they wanted to save on shipping and get the $150 price. Since it is a long gun I assume that its okay to sell to another person as long as they have a PAL. Again, let me know if I'm wrong in this regard.

Thanks.

Totally legal. As long as you confirm they have a PAL, you're good to go.

I'd be in for a Vancouver Group buy. PM me with details.

Great! I'll send you a PM in a second. I live in Vancouver and work in Richmond so if anyone else wants in, let me know and I'll place the order on Friday afternoon.
I'll cover the order and we'll just split the total cost ($150+tax+%of shipping).

Free shipping is nice but sometimes I'd rather pay a few extra dollars to a company like Wolverine, who will have my order processed and shipped in a couple days instead of a month, like some others. I'm not very patient, so I usually end up paying for it, literally. $60 shipping to BC is a little much though.

Not directed at helidrop but to anyone getting high shipping estimates, try contacting Wolverine for an accurate quote, they've already said here the online tool is having problems.

Their website said ~$43 to ship an SKS to my address in the greater Vancouver area, which on its own is obviously not too economical. When I upped it to 3 x SKS and a Tapco stock the shipping went to an eye-popping $106. Sent them an email and got a reply within 4 hours that the whole order would be ~$50. Thats $175 for each SKS taxes in delivered right to your door. Dont think I'll get anything close to that price locally, though you do need to order at least three to get the $150 price make it worth it.

I totally would have gone in on the Vancouver group buy if I was just getting one, but I've added enough to my order that the overall shipping is fair enough to me.
