SKS scope/red dot rail. Where to get one?

Great news.. Eventually I'll wanna put that on my SKS but I've got a bunch of other purchases ahead of it.

I know how that goes... I propably shouldn't have put it on the credit card, I need ammo for the SKS/cz more then I do a new scope mount and fates conspired to take away the cash I had set aside for it. but I see this scope mount this as one of those always sold out items.

About 60-70 rounds.
I replaced the TRS and moved it all the way forward, but still was getting hits on the rail AFTER the ejector mod (which clearly doesn't work so well).

I also saw some dings on the ring of the new TRS.

I would get a deflector. It kinda SUCKS that Bc tactical doesn't mention this. I emailed them but they ignored me.

A deflector will require a couple of mounting points, found on a receiver cover such as you'd use to rear mount a scope. By the time you've got a red dot, mount, cover and deflector on there, you've far surpassed the value of the gun itself :)
LoL!!!
You got some crazy ejection path there.
The shells are ejecting at the 12 o'clock and forward???
Either you have some high powered rounds or that the rifle springs set must be supper stiff.
I wonder if the receiver ejection mod you did anything to enhance this situation???

Gothmog sorry for not getting back to you, Had to take my dad out for fathers day and the whole engagement party last night. Call you next week and can't wait to check this bad boy out ;)

Haven't had issues with my NcStar rails, but fitting it properly was painstaking. I did some polishing with dremel bits on a drill press and used emery cloth and a file on the screwtips. Doesn't get in the way of stripper clips and allows use of the original sights, but it does reset every time it's removed. I'm happy with it.

That would be a negative. The ejection path BEFORE the mod smashed my first optic. Sks's are known to eject all over the place, forward and up is not uncommon.
I'm rockin the Magwedge now, so no more broken optics.

Can't recommend the BC Tactical rail, but each rifle is different.
