SKS scope suggestions?

I'm looking for a scope for my SKS in the $200 range. 3-9x40mm preferably. any suggestions/advice/reviews from some of you that have scoped SKSs?

took the words right outta my mouth. I plan on hunting with this rifle as well so I'd like a modest amount of magnification on it.

I was going to suggest a BC scout mount and a Bushnell Trophy TRS-25 Red Dot,, but your set up looks like a winner. remember pictures and a range report..

I purchased this Barska scope kit (3-9X42 not the 4X32) http://www.cabelas.ca/product/9101/barska-sks-scope-kit
It took a fair bit of gentle filing and fitting to get the mount to fit right, but it ended up being quite solid, plus it was fairly inexpensive and did the trick.

Ive never seen that one before, but I like the fact that it doesn't require any permanent modifications to the rifle, and looks pretty solid.
