sks shortage?

ive called 3 local stores in my area and they are all sold out of sks and say they dont know when they will be getting more of them. i just got my pal and im finaly ready to buy one and they have all disapeared. plus i asked in the wanstalls forum if they had any in stock and my post just straight up got deleted, whats up with that?

Al from Westrifle posted in another thread that they are not out, but are getting harder to come by and the prices are going up. If you have a wholesale sports in your town they have some, at least they do here in Saskatoon. Westrifle has some incoming and Wiemajack has some nice ones on the EE As does Westrifle online but they are all 1949 made and are really more of a collectors piece rather than a shooter, and you will pay for them ($500). Canada Ammo, and Marstar have some online as well if you want to wait. And I guess worst case scenario if you just cannot wait, you could always check out Lever Arms in Vancouver if you don't mind buying a Frankenpinned refurb!! Good luck
