SKS sight tool re-hash

Remember the thread started sometime in June ,where someone asked if a sight tool came with the Russian SKS`s ?

Well ,I bought another one from Frontier (this time a beauty laminate stock ,silver bolt) about 3 weeks ago ,unpacked it ,cleaned the bastard up and put her on the wall of fame.

Well today ,I was going through the cleaning pouch and there stuffed inside was a front sight adjusting tool and a muzzle/flash suppressor !!
I mean...WOW !Quite a nice bonus tool to have

Try one of those small c-clamps from princess auto or invest in one of these;

The site tool I got with mine is like a c clamp, but either I am using it wrong or it is not for the SKS. the adjustment bolt doesn't quite reach the front site adjustment pin when the clamp is placed over top of the front site hood, and I really can't see any other way of it working :(
 
I think a lot of these tools are aftermarket, I had to do some filing on my sight to get the sight to fit into the slot in the adjustment tool, if you can't get the front sight out of there, you might have to get a needle file and file the slot carefully until it does fit - sorry I can't be of more help.
 
BB, are you sure that's a flash hider? It may be a muzzle protector for cleaning use.

It`s a flash hider ,3 slots each side ,comes with a roll pin .I`ll try to get a pic up.

I would like to see pics of that too. Mine came with a standard cleaning kit, no specials, and I ordered from the same place for the same price for pretty much the same gun :)
 
Alright then ,if you go to fabsports under muzzle/f.suppressors......hit the SKS pic and you will see it (the first one on top)
It`s just an aftermarket muzzle break.
