SKS & SKS-D Prices...WTF?

I sold my Yugo a few years back for about what Chinese ones go for today...

....And then last fall I bought one of those Chinese ones, just for the symbolic middle finger it represents.

My first chinese sks was $214, and it was 2014.. so im surprised to see people saying they payed around $200 in the 90's. In 2014 russians were selling for like $300-$350.

There were only a half dozen SKS at Calgary gunshow today. Prices were in the $800 range.

The OP made me laugh whinging about the price of things back in '07. Man, we used to have it good, especially when the LGR got thumped. It's not just that getting old sucks. Life in Canada sucks more now too.

See if building up the tab on the back of the mag with jb weld. If that works, make it permanent add a little material with a welder and file it to fit

$719 for a surplus Chinese SKS with ATI stock. Final sale, too, no returns if it fails to feed

^ ^ Iam - That's a pretty good deal there. The only Q about it is the rifle a "Used Surplus" or 'Un-fired'. I had a F-T in Tapco that I just sold, ca 500 rounds shot. Sold for $1100 w- OEM stock, too. The ATI is not 'quite as good' as the Tapco, but Tapco is In-Obtanium nowadays. I've had SKSs for ca 15-years, need to get something diff - maybe a PND ? Got lotsa 223 here.
