Essentially if the sear is sloped incorrectly you can get a hair trigger that can be "unpredictable".

as said above, keep it clean and dry. i spray mine down with cleaner wipe it off and leave it alone. also give it the shake test. take the bolt and shake it up and down and listen for the firing pin to rattle around in it, if it doesnt rattle clean it again.

Thanks for the link. I haven't had a chance to view the videos at this time but I don't think I have a problem with negative sear. My SKS came with a firing pin spring and I would get the occasional 'double tap' (Yes, everything clean & free movement). I installed a stronger spring and still once in a while I will get a slam fire. I will know more once I gone through the videos.
