sks stock fit: barrel and receiver moving forward and rearward (bedding job?)

Last one I did was simple and easy. I bedded the recoil lug at the back of the receiver only. For a good tight fit I hung the stock by its rear sling swivel and hung some weight off the front sight to pull the action forward against the crossbolt. Trigger group installed of course. Bedding a Chinese SKS into a Russian hardwood stock. The fit was tight and it shot 4" before and after.
