SKS stock to look like a Galil

Rhineland arms is set to release an SKS stock that gives the SKS a Galil-type look.

I hope it can accomodate the bayonet, gas shut-off, etc... of my Yugo 59/66.

It sounds like it will be an alloy/powdercoated product...I look forward to seeing it.
 
at a $105 U.S. thats not bad.

The new Rhineland Arms SKS stock is coming soon. It will be able to fit most of the SKS rifles and use either the ACE, AR15(with adapter) or Rhineland stocks. Construction will be of aluminum with a black powder coat finish. The fore ward handgrips are removable and the standard pistol grip offered will be a AR15 grip. More information coming soon.

Price estimated $105
 
the reg sks, the kit and a 30 rd non-detached mag would add up to $350, not bad for a cool looking butt folding rifle, and that is still cheaper than the $400 sks-d that dealers are selling for here, and even cheaper than the real galil.
 
Looks pretty damn cool to me. Still, a stock costing as much as a rifle is always stupid to me, no matter how cheap a rifle is...

who will be the first to get this and post a review? Is anyone madly in love with this stock? Ill tell ya I would probably get this for no other reason than to be able to mod my sks more...

I was gonna say the exact same thing, it's not that much different in price, and the Rhineland stock is made of aluminum, which is WAY cooler than plastic any day :D I'd buy one, if I didn't already have both my SKS's wearing ATI stocks.
 
rhineland arms announced this morning that they are taking orders for their first production run, they want a US$35 deposit but its looks like the US$105 first thought was too good to be true. the folding stock is sold seperate.

they did say it wont fit a D model and models with longer handuard. was there models sold with longer handguard?

Inquisitor so it will have a full length stock? any pics of that? might still be cool...

to inquistor ; its not a full stock , they are selling their own collapseable stock for $25 , thats in addition to the central body stock for $98, also avail is foreward scope rails for $12 and a galil grip fpr $25, the folding stock thats what i really wanted is not supplied by them so you have to order it from elsewhere.
