SKS stripper clip prices

When did SKS stripper clips become so expensive. I knew they were going for big money in the States during the last time Barry got elected but they have really increase here.
I could never understand why people would just throw away the strippers that came with the green box Czech or Russian surplus after a range day of shooting. I would always ask and grab them. It's obvious that there will come a day that they will be $5 each. They will be like the Garand enblocs.
Maybe William Devane can start selling them on late night television spots.

I held on to every clip that came with the Czech crates. I see places selling them for 50 cents to a dollar a clip now.

I've held on to most of mine - except for the ones that I gave away to new SKS shooters who bought other types of ammo that didn't come on chargers.

Just dont buy the nc star ones. I bought 20 of them and threw 20 of them in the garbage

Five round clips are a great idea, saves a couple of seconds fiddling while trying to get just 5 rounds into the magazine. Cut 'em up!

Don't. I cut a pile up and they're far more useful. If you need more you can always buy more Czech surplus

Good way of looking at it! The first crate of ammo that I bought, was the Czech 1200 on stripper clips for $300. Since I still have the 120 clips
that means the ammo only cost me $240.

I cut them up for five rounders and use them for flat springs for the odd repair. Picked up a bucket full these last few years. I should clean them all up and retire.

I have around a thousand Czech stripper clips, the problem is that I'd have to shoot the ammo attached to most of them first before I could sell them.

I like to put 5 rounds on a clip and mark them. Then wrap the rest of the clip in electrical tape. I find it makes a better "handle" when trying to get them out of dump pouches. The ones I cut down to 5 rounds were too small for my hands.
