sks tapco stock spring ?

Hi, I was going to clean out my gun after the range today and decided to take the tapco stock assembly off to better clean the inside trigger area etc. However when doing so a spring came out that I have no idea where it goes. I didnt take the trigger assembly apart, so im thinking this spring goes on the stock somewhere. There is a whole that it would fit perfectly in vertical to the handle. The spring in the top left of the pic is what im referring to. Thanks in advance

Slide that spring into the hole you mentioned on the stock. Then install trigger group, its there to add a bit of tension.It takes a fair bit of pressure to close the gap.
 
Tried to get that thing in but figured out I need to take the handle off. Ive seen a youtube video of a guy doing it with the handle still on and he gets it in so easy. I cant even come close to getting it in, so gonna have to take handle off. Dont have a ratchet socket set at the moment to get it done, until I visit the folks this wknd. Thanks again
