If this works out; We may very well see a whole wave of people shooting SKS rifles in 3-gun matches.

That would be cool.

Make sure I'm high on your pre-order list Dave! Great job on my SKS front sight/AK muzle brake adapter by the way. Mind if I post a pic in that thread?

I just got back from texas for a buisness trip, and i would move over there in a heartbeat.

Back on topic, the texas guys cleared the air on here and the comments on the other board were made prior to that from what i saw.

We should leave the arguing to both parties involved and focus on the fact that there is a great product for a very popular rifle soon to be available without the whole exchange rate/customs issues.

I'm a penny pincher so the price is kindof steep for me at the moment but i would love to grab one in some kind of sale.
 
We just wanted to post that we had a phone conversation with Marcus, from the US SKS mag adapter & resolved any issues that have been ongoing here on the forums. He is a very reasonable fellow to talk with. We have agreed to alter the final version so it does not resemble his version as much. We will alter our prototype & start production. Thanks for everyones support & understanding, especially Marcus! Dave.

I would say Marcus is an upstanding individual, there was a lack of communication that sparked a knee jerk reaction, i will be looking him up when i make it down there, but i will be looking more forward to doing some shooting with him! After we eat......LOL
 
Just out of curiosity.....

Will the adapters be shipped with instructions on where the receiver/bolt need to me modded? ( with pictures etc.)

Does the kit ship with a magazine?

Will stripper clips still work to load mags from an open bolt after this mod is done?

Is it possible to switch back to the original mag after the receiver and bolt are altered? (Or in other words is this conversion permanent?)
