SKS Tournament

Do any of the clubs or wildlife federations you know of have tournaments for SKS shooters? I think this would be hella fun and well attended, since everybody seems to have at least 1 SKS on hand.

Has a military shoot every summer I went last year and had a great time. Several 7.62x39only events. great time I will go again

Don't forget the semi whenever Poco Gong Show. 10" gong, best of 20rnds at 200yrds. Winner takes all which was the box of X39 entry fee.

We are located on County Rd 40 between Highway 3 and Springfield, Ontario, Canada. there is a map on their website. the full name is East Elgin Sportsmans assoc. good facilities awesome people

Yes - East Elgin Sportsmen's Association just outside London. Usually called the BLAST OFF. Officially on their website it is called the Military Shoot. EESA hasn't posted a date for this year's event. Marstar has been the main sponsor in the past (with a booth and excellent T-Shirts). Loads of fun - well organized and well attended. Lots of Enfields as well as SKSs

Please let me know if everyone wants to get together on a weekend SKS "gong show" tournament, I work a very early shift (3AM start), so weekends work better for me....

At elgin is it just military surplus or is it all military rifles ie 858's , m14s's , ar180etc? or do you have to use a mosin / sks etc.

I would love to attend some of these shoots, sounds like a "ahem"...Blast! I'll keep my eyes peeled this summer for events.....don't be shy and post if your club has something on k' guys. That enfield/sks shoot sounds like a good day!
