Hi all, looking to troubleshoot this SKS trigger.
I noticed the issue when inclining (30-45 degrees) the rifle when tucking the stock in the armpit and doing loading/dry fire drills,
When I rack the bolt with force, the hammer drops when the bolt slams forward.
I know this is not safe to shoot, I will not shoot it in this condition, and will not load the rifle in any circumstance. I've only been able to recreate this when the rifle is pointing barrel up, or inclined 30-45 degrees up into the air.
The rifle's trigger will otherwise reset normally and not drop the hammer if I do not rack the rifle with force.
It otherwise appears to function normally, except for the use case where I incline the rifle and then rack it with force.
I think it is an issue with the sear. I am not sure if there were any trigger jobs done to it. I have not disassembled the trigger group before. I've put maybe 400 rounds down the pipe since I've owned it. Any insight would be appreciated.
