It makes me think of a crossover between an AK and a M1:xes
I would love to get a couple of those stocks for my sks's
 
I don't like them, it makes it unbalanced, front heavy, and doesn't feel good to shoot. I'll keep my wood stock any day of the week over that.

Agreed. The SKS is already front heavy as it is... Waste of time and money for mear "aesthetics".

Reminder... It will never be an AK no matter how hard you try to make it into one.
 
Though it may never be an ak, for an (assumed) couple hundred mod to an already cheap rifle, it would be a super fun addition to a collection. I have three sks' s and if I could buy a kit to do this, I would probably have 4. Just look at the attention that the folding stock ak lookalike sks got in the modded out sks thread.

I didnt find my sks front heavy at all in this folder.

It looks kinda fugly to me. Sorry. There was one of those underfolding stocks in the EE last week. I wanted to pull the trigger on it. But it was $280. Ouch that's almost two Sks. I wasn't gonna waste it on an Sks tho. I wanted for one of my vz58. Honestly guys I've tried most of the stocks for the Sks. My 3 Sks are all back in they're original stocks. Don't waste money on modding an Sks. Just get a vz58 with factory folder. The money you'll spend would buy a superior rifle the vz58. It has all the options standard that everyone wants on they're Sks. Don't get me wrong I love my sks's I just love my vz58's WAY more! I know modding is half the fun and I do it too but its a lot more fun on a vz58. If I really wanted an Sks with a folding stock I'd get the one Lone Ranger has it's the best option.

Stock Sks is a great rifle leave it alone. Lol
