SKS variations and oddities

Well, I've got a oddity, it has a 18 1/2" barrel, has been modified to accept AK mags and has an odd factory code. I've posted a few pics of it before but hey, it's a strange one...

That looks like a 1411 or 140?
indeed a nice find!

same marking's

I have Norc with the same factory marking and it is in the same serial number range my gun is all original it has a red wood stock and has a 22 inch barrel and a spike bayonet I think the factory marking is translated to 6601 I could be wrong slipp

It does look like 6601, I have not seen the code listed anywhere though. Do you have any pics of yours?

10,000 to Canada in total. That's including what has arrived. 186,000, that's to the war'ing nations around the world, they are not picky, collecting or killers. Your warm basement or in the hands of fighting factions. I know of one supplier waiting like SIR, but want my handpick then will advertise where to be found. I have one from Frontier but want my unfired Izzie. The supplier I have found is not advertising or taking advance orders. I will certainly post when available....Like me, get your restricted licence, how long before the CZ858 and SKS will go on the list?????

wow feels great that we will share those with the warlords... lol

my guess is when the liberals are in they'll be restricted first thing , don't believe they'll be prohib too many in citizens hands!;)

Type 56, non refurb 1965 Factory 26, 9 Series.
Numbered as per Russian practice in the same places as found on non reworks. Dark wood unlike the pale stuff found on later rebuilds. If you wondered what an issue Type 56 is supposed to look like, this is it.
