Norinco is a Brand name, SKS is a model of firearm that was manufactured in various countries, including in china by Norinco!(a chinese company!)

Just a note, Norinco does not manufacture anything, they are the state marketing arm for the industry and contract firearms manufacturing out to the various factories.
Norinco markets many products other than firearms throughout the world....

Is Norinco M-14 a better gun than the SKS of any make?

Their are dozens of threads already about these 2 guns, in fact, as you can see, SKS has its own forum now. An SKS and an M14 are 2 completely different rifles, firing 2 completely different rounds.Its like comparing apples and oranges.If you look on the forums, you will find all of the info you will ever want on these 2 rifles.Im pretty sure there will be many sarcastic comments posted here asthese 2 rifles have been covered sooooo many times!!!
