Can anyone inform me which is preferable?
IMHO early Chinese SKS's (1950's, and 60's) are great rifles, and are well built, probably because at the time they had Ivan standing over their shoulders telling them how to built them.![]()
Can anyone inform me which is preferable?
I can't wait until next month when we ccan get the russian refurbs for $169
LOL, but who was watching in the 60s when ivan was sent home packing in 1959 ?
My Chinese SKS stays open on the last shot. I seem to recall the Norinco's didn't. Is that correct? I'm basing this on rifles I handled about 15 years ago so my memory might be a tad fuzzy.
From what I understand. Only the SKS-D had the last shot bolt hold open feature.
im not sure what you meant .
but all SKS has a bolt hold feature while the "D" and "M" do not , basicly any SKS that takes AK mag do not have this feature .
