SKS.. where are you?

Hey guys.. Is it just me or is there a shortage of Sks's? I'm in Southern Ontario and it seems like everywhere is waiting for a shipment.. Does anyone know where I can find a Russian perferably with a laminate stock? In fact if you yourself have one you'd bve willing to part with, I got cash in hand.. I'm up in Lindsay today and will drive anywhere in the gta if need be.

Try Le Baron, both Mississauga and Markham locations had stock a while ago.

I'm kicking myself for buying a ten pack, selling them at a fair price would have paid for mine

Why not order one in? Wolverine ($249 Russain Laminate), Wanstalls ($199 Russain Laminate) and Frontier ($249) have them. I got mine from SFRC but they're sold out now.

I was checking out some at wortners last weekend. They are cleaned and ready to shoot.

I called them. Almost ordered one, but they were 239 + for a laminate stock plus shipping. However had I known they were degreased I probably wouldn't have minded the extra cost lol

Westrifle has them. I've heard they are the best place to get nice Russian SKSs. They generally hand pick their rifles.

I wanted an SKS, but I ended up buying two. So I'll probably sell my non-reurbed 55/56 Tula SKS and use the money for a .22 target rifle.
