I'm a huge fan of BFBC and BFBC2.

I've always wanted the games to include an SKS and here it is finally, even if it is a Yugo variant wearing some Tapco clothing.

Maybe someone saw my user name (TAPCO_SKS) from EA and thought hmmm maybe we SHOULD include an SKS. Can't wait for Oct 25!!

I'm guessing since its supposed to be the "equivalent" of the M39 (aka M14 EBR), it'll have a detachable mag. We'll wait and see however.

I wonder if it will have tactical reloads? (half-way through a mag) I can just picture the poor guy weezing and cursing (I picture him as a portly fellow) trying to:
1)hold the bolt back
2)push up on the bolt hold open
3) pull the old mag
4) fiddle around trying to rock the crapco mag in
Or if hes a budgeted canadian shooter steps 1-3 then fumble to push 5 loose rounds into it, (while cursing the stupid tacticool scope set-up that gets in the way of the clip guide) then step 4

dont forget theyre likely using a bolt cover rail for that scope so after one shot itll be completely out to lunch. his only gonna be able to hit the really really fat bad guys at no more than 50 yards away, lol

These people make these games for the collective gamers.. 80% of the people who throw this game into their console will not even know what kind of gun it is let alone all the " inperfections" they instilled with it...its an sks in a video game and it looks cool so just enjoy the game and build YOUR sks how YOU want it....

And yes im bias cuz i have a totally tapco'd sks but i still dont expect it to pic the eye balls out at 150yrds...

Nope, there was an SKS in the old Battlefield: Vietnam which came out a few years ago, the add on for BC2 didn't have an SKS

Well 5 mins. on a gun forum will tell you the SKS isn't a sniper rifle, but if you're trying to research the Tapco stock would just be a headache.

Besides, like someone else said, they're making these games for gamers, not knobs who sit on gun forums. And going past that, developers usually try to introduce some sort of balance to the weapons they put in video games. If the SKS wasn't more accurate than the other rifles in the game, it would be absolutely pointless to use (well other than the fact its an SKS and I own one ).
