What about a heat gun. I just picked one up a couple of days ago. What I'm really after is to fix it so I can use the adjustment tool in the field, otherwise I'll just leave it alone and guestimate.
A common problem. Oil the crap out of it and knock it with a flat nosed punch a few times to get it to move BEFORE you go the range. Once it moves, it will adjust easy.
WD40 is not penetrating oil. It's water displacer. It does a piss poor job of everything it says on the can EXCEPT that (cleans, lubricated, protects MY ARSE).
