SKS with duckbill mag

Just got back from the range this morning, went out to try my old sks with a duckbill mag a friend gave me. Was the second time i used it and as expected the first time was a stoppage festivale. When i got home the last time, i started taking some measurements on both the original mag and the detachable one and found that the lips on the detach were to high. So after a little hammering session i went out again today to try it and after 300 rounds with no stoppage what so ever i concluded my morning shooting trip. So now i've got a nice mean looking SKS! :D
 
With the price of SKS-D's these days, I don't know why anyone screws around with duckbill mags anymore. I was in the same boat, finally got sick of tweaking it and threw the damn thing away, sold the rifle and bought and SKS-D...I shoulda' saved my money and bought a Yugo SKS instead! :)
 
How about some pic's please. I plan on purchasing an SKS in the near future but not sure what model to get. Thanks

My duckbills just would get ejected from the rifle on the first shot and land on the feedlips, trashing them. I have concluded that duckbill mags are a waste of money.

You have to host the picture at a site like:
http://www.photobucket.com/

Then you post the img link and voila.

Under the Photo Gallery section there is a test thread for first time picture posters to practice. I recommend always previewing your post whenever you post a picture.
 
i want a duckbill mag 30/5 for sks standar with 10 fix mag or a 20/5 that a same of the 10 fix but bigger named redstar fix magazine if you have one for sale or if you now where i can get reply me tanks luc
