Fabsports has "detachable mags" for the SKS. They are akward, but work non the less. They are a sponsoring dealer as well. Why sks though? A cz858 has alot more going for it in terms of tacticooling.lol.
 
If we didn't have a 5 round capacity limit on our stripper magazine bullet holder things, then just changing them out would be faster than manually reloading off of 2 or 3 stripper clips.

Seeing as we are limited to 5 rounds, it is actually faster to just reload off a stripper clip, rather than swapping the whole bullet cartridge liner upper feeder thing.... What's the correct term again? A clip?

stillar, i wouldnt set my sights on a detachable "clip" SKS, they are harder to find and usually cost more. go with a new chinese, or a refurb russian with the fixed mag. The ammo mostly comes on clips so its easy to load them from the top... ;)

Thanks insurrecto.... I ordered a russian laminate sks with a fixed magazine. I wrote that message on my first day at gnc.... I have learned a little bit from friendly guys like you and not so friendly guys that burn my ass.
