what are the differnces in the sks's china russia,and other's how do you know you are getting a good sks what do you look for...Is there a collecter sks?

Well it's like this
Russian, and Yugo are surplus
Chinese are New with pined barrels.
It comes down to year some are chromelined some aren't You get a more accurate SKS with the Norinco because they pin the barrel in with a newer method then the old way of doing things. The chromed barrels are less accurate then the all steel ones the down side is the steel ones can be in rough shape. It all comes down to condition. For collectors some people go for certain markings on the rifle and year with matching parts. Referbsed SKS are better condition but they're not as collectable then one that's not referbshed. Some referbsed ones demand a higher price because they're butchered less. It all comes down to what is important to you. Some people like light or dark stocks some like battle beaten up ones some people like ones that look flawless. Some people like the years because they have history behind them some people don't care it all depends on what you want. Do you want a firearm to shoot and beat around on or do you want something that sits and you go ah look at the history or it's flawlessness..

Chinese are surplus, not all have pinned barrels, pinned does not always mean more accurate than screwed in.
There are Chinese SKS made for the civilian market that vary widely in quality. The military versions are of better quality and are surplus. Given that the Chinese made the SKS from 1956 to 1980 there are many small details that create variety in that segment alone.

And my 49 Russian Tula has a, Spiked Bayonet.

49 Russian has a 4 sided edge. Chinese have 3.
Chinese had blade bayonets from 56 to 66. 67 on had spike. China refurbished their SKS, however did not mark them. The refurbished have un-numbered stocks and often have blade bayonets.
Factory 26 (Chinese) versions from 56 to 80 all have screw in barrels. Other factories started pinning barrel in the late 60s but not all factories went to pinning.
In the late 80s and into the 90s China manufactured the sks for the civilian market. These were often made from spare parts from military stock but can lack assembly quality. The SKS-D and the SKS-M were of these civilian models. Civilian models are often stamped "Norinco". Military models lack the norinco mark generally as a rule, but US imported versions that have made it to Canada will have various import marks that may include "norinco".
