SKS's Upper Limit?

Hey all,
I am considering an SKS project, but was curious about the accuracy of these. I know they are far from benchrest rifles, but how far can you go with accurizing one? 1 MOA ? 2? 3? Are they fairly consistant, or will one punch MOA or better out of the box while an other shoots all over the place?

You can get 3-4 moa with it but it depends on how far and how much you wish to spend . One CGN'er had a P14 barrel custom installed with a few other mods and claims it's 1 moa . The also claims it would cost $3000.00 to duplicate .

IMHO if you are only getting 3-4 MOA with these carbines then it is more a problem with the shooter.

2 MOA is my average.

I have seen many target left behind by SKS shooters on my range. Havn't seen any 2 MOA yet. I guess iron sight isn't really support 2 MOA, even the gun is capable.
