Looking for a 3x9 scope

Kinda have my eye on
Redfield BattleZone
Nikon P-223
Vortex PST FFP 2.5 -10

Thoughts? impression? alternatives? mount options?
 
With an SL-8, mounting is really your biggest challenge. I'm not an SL8 owner yet, but I would be soliciting other SL8 owners and looking to see what they have done. I would think a small, low-profile optic would be best. Depends too on what distances and types of targets you're shooting at. How much magnification do you want? Those optics range from none to 3x fixed to variable.
 
I put a Leupold Mk 4 4.5-14X40 on my SL-8 with no mounting issues, just need some rings. The rail is plently long enuf for just about anyting.
 
Have a look at the Leopold ar series as well. I had 3x9 on mine and was good. Bell diameter can be an issue, pick scope and rings that will clear the long rail. Leopold makes a one piece type that sits higher and should clear larger bell.
 
I've got a Vortex Viper HS/LR 2.5-10x32 FFP and I'm pretty happy with it.

I'm not a big fan of Vortex but I like this scope. The glass is better then the other vortex's I've looked through. (PST 6-24x50, HST 4-16x44, Viper 6.5-20x50)
