Are you talking about the handguard or the rails on it? The Sl8 and G36 handguard and rails are the same. Although the new G36 handguards now have a heatshield. Not sure if the newest Sl8s come with the heat shield.

Thats what I paid for my G36 mags from a guy on the site, the Swiss arms 5/30 mags are just as much in price and just as hard to get now if not worse. I tried a few different AR15 mag wells and they never suited the rifle like the OEM mags, or worked nearly as well without allot of fu**ing around.
SL8 to G36 - original SL8 scope
Sweet looking rifle. Mine is SL8-5 with a long Picatinny on top. Anybody out there knows where can I get the original HK 3x scope for that rifle without breaking the bank? Does it come with that handle, do I need a handle for it or can it be mounted on a picatinny?

It's $9000 because HK won't sell these to civilian end-users (German government restrictions).
The G-36 butt makes a big difference in the balance of the rifle but I'm a big guy so I can deal with it. The vertical grip helps to adjust for the front heavy status.
Looks like you have the G36 stock and not the G36C. The C is still a bit front heavy with SL-8 barrel but overall balance is not bad
