SL8-5 outfit it please

Just picked up a SL8 and am in need of a quality sling and scope. Please, any and all suggestions. New to this style of rifle. I am looking for more of a target style scope under $ 700.

A blue force gear VCAS sling with HK adapters would work well. As for scopes I am no expert, but I have a Falcon Menace on mine. I have been neglecting my HK lately and not had a chance to put the scope to the test.
