Anyone own a grey coloured SL8? I would be interested to know what you thought of the colour after owning it for awhile. Also, if anyone has some good pics of their grey SL8's, I would appreciate it if you could post them.

Thanks!

When I first saw the grey one, I thought that i hated it. I thought the black one looked better. Now that I think of it, it is unique looking, and looks like it would be cool for winter hunting of coyotes and such, all you need to do is add some forest /foliage pattern to make it look like snow camo. I am still thinking about getting one.

I have a grey one, the only issue is that they show dirt and oil very well. Viper Competition was working on dying them but they would come out purple, there is a guy in the states that can do it .

I love the look of mine. There's a certain 'friendliness' to it-- I mean, it's already a weird looking rifle, why not make it a different colour too?

Like Madness said, they show dirt fast. The brass deflector on mine is turning dark grey/black, and you can totally tell where I put my hands while cleaning it.

Make no mistake though, everyone on the line will come by to take a peak at the "white plastic toy."

When I bought it, my first question was about the cracking. They said that it really shouldn't be an issue and it was more likely related to defects introduced in the manufacturing process (as opposed to the plastic just not being strong enough). I haven't put enough ammo through mine to confidently say that it won't crack-- but I have faith.
