SL8 versions and historical changes

Other than the obvious differences between sight rails are there any differences between models of the SL8 or years of manufacture?

For instance, I understand that US models only support single stack magazines due to the bolt head.

I have also head of receive cracking issued in the very early production years.

US SL8s only have single stack mags because of US import laws. The bolt is modified to fit the single stack mag.

Early models did have some issues with a crack in the front of the trigger housing. It was only cosmetic, but was covered under warranty and the issue was resolved in the newer generation.
