Slam-fire shotguns

I've been tinkering with the idea of picking up a pump shotgun capable of "slam firing". ie: One trigger pull could let you pump out all the shells in the mag, if you were so inclined.

I'd like to make a list of the fairly popular shotguns with this capability, just for information purposes. I know this was a feature that was commonplace on most older models of pump shotguns.

I would like to know from the shotgun guru's out there: What models of shotguns have the capability of slam firing? (or within what years of production for certain models?)

The popular ones I know of off the top of my head:

-Winchester 1897 and most variants and clones.
-Winchester Model 12 / Model 1912 (unsure if all model 12's have this option)
-Ithaca Model 37? (unsure about this one too)

"...slam firing..." That's not a slam fire. A slam fire is an unintentional discharge caused by improperly loaded ammo.

"...slam firing..." That's not a slam fire.

I agree, totally worded my OP wrong.

I used the term because most folks who I've spoken to have used this term fully understanding the distinction within context of the conversation/question. (in this case: pump shotguns, not russian SKS's with gummed-up free-floating firing pins shooting ammo with soft primers ... )

But I digress. A list of Shotguns which have no trigger disconnect! :D

My 1972 Ithaca 37 takes less than 2 seconds to unload. But it's only 5 shells. A 1300 Defender should do it with 8 or so.

My 1300 Defender has a trigger disconnect. (no "slamfire") Maybe the older ones didnt?

I've got 2 1897's and 1 Ithaca 37 (still need a Model 12! :p), all slam-fire...:D

Now, if only someone could tell me how to lock my 1987 take-down into place!

To add to your list, a quick google search, and youtube video provided me with this, anyone able to verify?

I'd be interested in atleast a semi-completed list of various shotguns with this ability. I mean, i don't even have the size to be able to handle the multiple shots, but it would be cool to try out anyways!

It's worth it to get one. Hard to control and actually sometimes hard to wrack the pump quickly during the recoil sometimes, but totally worth it still.
