If you do find a 98A your bolt will have to be machined for the slots to install it. I have a M71 with the 98A bolt peep and it is great. Fully adjustable and sleek. Another bolt mounted option is the Skinner Sights bolt mounted aperture for 1886/71 rifles. It requires drilling and tapping two mounting holes in the bolt. If you have a M71 which is already altered, as many are, it wouldn’t be such a big leap to have one installed. I bought one with the intention of installing it on my Browning carbine but couldn’t bring myself to have the bolt drilled.
