Slickest, lightest action? (pump)

I don't know about the lightest action, but the smoothest by far is the Ithaca 37. Also, you can rapid fire this gun by holding back the trigger and just cycling the action.

im not sure browning would be a good choice for him, i like it alot, but its a bottom eject, a lap full of shells might not be the most desirable thing always..

+1 for the ithica....I have an old 37, never felt any shotgun quite like it. Light and very smooth pump.
