Slide and frame engraving

I have a 1911 slide and frame I want engraved / etched, has anyone had one of their pistols or revolvers done? If so where and what kind of cost am I looking at.

For basic engraving, I used a local jeweller. Fairly inexpensive.

What do you want done? Laser engraving is best.
