can anyone recommend a good place to get slides cut in BC?

Are you looking to get it milled for an optic or are you referring to getting it lightened? Personally, for either I would be shipping it to Black Box in Alberta.

Yes, Send to Black Box. Excellent work and good turn around time. I have my fifth gun in with them now.

I’ve presently got my first Black Box Customs gun with them . Very excited to get it back and enjoy their work . They have many samples of their work in the showroom and it’s all beautiful super clean stuff .

My only issue with BBC is that you are required to also pay for their Cerakote service, and they won't do the milling without it. Unfortunately it tends to make the cost go up quite a bit. I ended up going with AusCan Tactical for my slide milling, since I have my own local cerakote guy to save some pennies.

For which gun and for which optic? BBC doesn’t mill slides for optics on any pistol or for any optic.

I had someone from BC mill my CZ Shadow 2 slide for an SRO cause BBC wouldn’t do it.

When I ordered mine the ceracote was on sale , so I got a break on cost .
