Yes, heard about frame flex and stuff and how Glock is not exactly consistent in this area... but I want to know if anyone has purchased a recent full size (ie. G17, G22) and has the frame near (or touching) the slide under the front sight.

Please also mention if 'Made in Austria' is on the right side of frame, or just GLOCK, INC., SMYRNA, GA. (which is a US Made frame).

Tx

My last Glock, G17 (sorry forget where it was made) had the tips of the rail portion touching the slide. I think this is very common; it was purchased 6 months ago'ish.

I had a g21 1st gen that did that , worked excellent .
I just got a G22 last week that is the same .
At rest its just about touching and with a bit of force it will just touch .
As far a I have seen this is normal .

Thx. Just got my G17 (US Made frame), and when I run my thumb nail under and out the front, the frame actually snaps back hard to the slide. Sooo... I would say it is definitely touching.
